Zabriskie Point
Zabriskie Point called to me at two times during my Death Valley wanderings in the autumn of 2007. I stopped there at mid-day when I entered the park. The light was flat then, but I snapped a few photos anyway. And than I returned to take in the sunrise on my last day in the park; what a difference!
The sunrise photos look like repeats, and yet with each successive capture, the sun has moved, bathing the rocks in a slightly different light.
You can read about my wanderings in Death Valley in my journal What's in a name?.
