Denise Goldberg > 2002-06: Boston to Oregon, a cross-country celebration

Riding across the United States has been a dream of mine for a while. Why?
People keep asking me why I want to do this trip. It's really a combination of things to me: a chance to explore our country at a pace that lets me really see things, a chance to meet and interact with people who live in the areas I'll be passing through, a chance to meet other cyclists, a chance to see parts of the country that I've only dreamed of so far, and a sense of accomplishment that comes from a ride of this sort. Please join me in my dream ride from east to west.

Denise Goldberg > December 31, 2007: It's been a year since I added an image of myself to this gallery. Ah, a shot of me with my camera, an addiction growing ever stronger.
Denise Goldberg > A self portrait - me, with camera, taking a photo of myself. My camera addiction is growing ever stronger.

Denise Goldberg > 1998: Along the spine of the Rockies

My very first solo, self-supported bicycle tour! I chose the Rocky Mountains as the site of my adventure, starting by crossing the panhandle of Idaho, wandering north through Montana to Glacier National Park, crossing into Alberta & British Columbia to continue to follow the spine of the Rockies north to Jasper. A fabulous experience!
