What? No new photos?

Pele, the goddess of fire, called me to the Big Island of Hawaii for a bit of wandering and camera play. I arrived home yesterday, and I'm in the process of getting myself back on eastern time - and of more interest to you, going through the photos that jumped into my camera as I wandered. You can read about my adventures in my blog as you're waiting for images to show up here.

Patience please... I'm reviewing photos as fast as I can!

Desert beckoning

Ice to ocean... Parker River

Oh, you're curious about what's in these galleries? Here's a quick summary:

• White, winter... 2009 is my running photo gallery of the moment. It contains random images, snapped as I wander with camera in hand. The latest images are at the top of the gallery.
• Desert beckoning contains images from my too quick December trip to Death Valley National Park and Red Rock Canyon National Conservation area.
• Ice to ocean... Parker River contains images from wandering at Parker River National Wildlife Refuge on a cold December day. It was gray, there was ice on the inland side of the refuge, a rolling ocean on the other side. Beautiful, as always.
